Rittenhouse is an American Hero

The boy is on trial. He isn’t just innocent. He’s a hero.

I felt this way when it happened. American neighborhoods were burning, statues were toppling and nobody with any power was doing anything about it. Kyle’s whole life is ahead of him. He decided to fight for justice in the American Way. He ran to the fire with a weapon and medical bag.

MSNBC calls this vigilantism. I call it heroism. A man using his arms to protect goodness in his neighborhood. His mind wasn’t clouded by our “mature” ideas about assuring the safety of men using what we used to call the ladies room.

We don’t even make ladies anymore.

Kyle is an old school man in a transgendering world.

We need more like him. Lots more.
